The Bell in Chearsley is a delightful, traditional, country pub and restaurant situated between Thame and Aylesbury.
As well as being a great place to drink, our warm, friendly, traditional pub offers a great home-cooked menu using locally sourced, fresh produce. Additionally, we pride ourselves on maintaining consistently well-kept Fuller’s ales, which we accompany with a well-chosen wine list.

In the winter months, relax by our amazing wood-burning stove, or, alternatively, enjoy our fantastic child-friendly garden and patio area in the summer months.

Here at The Bell in Chearsley, our award winning family garden is just the place to sit and relax in the summer months. In addition, you can enjoy your food outside in a lovely setting.

As well as the garden area we have a spacious patio area where you can eat, drink or just relax with friends.

Furthermore, on chillier days or a for a ‘half-way’ house, why not choose our pergoda to eat in. This can also be the perfect place which can be booked for private family gatherings or small parties for example.

We’ve always got somewhere for you to ‘chill out’ here at The Bell in Chearsley so come and join us for lunch and bring your friends and family.

On several days of the year, we have special meals that require preparation; we do not accept automatic bookings on these days. It may still be possible to take your booking, but we ask that you contact us on 01844 208077.
