Join us for a spooky night on 28 October (no it isn’t a school night)
This party is for adults and so might feature drinking and dancing.
For youngsters, we have a special party on 31st October, featuring less drink and more food.
It all takes place between 4 pm and 5.30. So you can still get in some Trick or Treating around the village.
The lovely Steph Willis is back by popular demand on Saturday 14th October night here in the Bell,
Commanding a truly special vocal talent Steph is a fantastic live performer of the highest calibre.
If you missed her last visit – make sure you don’t miss out this time.

As you can see a couple of the lads had already started on their well deserved post mowing pints.
We have very little availability left for Father’s Day this Sunday and so we have had to take the online reservations system offline for the day.

To round off the perfect month we will be having a BBQ & Live Music @ The Bell on Sunday 28th May.
The BBQ will kick off at 5:30 (ish) followed by some fantastic live music from Kiera Gabrielle, who will be with us from 6pm
Kiera is a truly fantastic singer/songwriter. And, if you every want to know why you should never text after having a few drinks, then listen to her.
She appeared at the Thame Town Music Festival last year. She can be seen at The First Thursday Music Club and was at Music in the Park in Thame at the end of April. Her songs can be heard on all streaming channels. She also has her own YouTube channel with lyric versions of all her ‘men who do me wrong’ tracks.
We will be open from noon here at the Bell and we know we are going to have another fabulous day so, for a night not to be missed, bring your appetites and and your ears.

Only seven days to go until we launch our Spring Menu. As we transition from those dark Winter nights towards full blown Summer here in Chearsley, our menu is moving towards a lighter feel.
With our spring menu we welcome you back into our family friendly garden when the weather improves. There can be nothing nicer than sitting in the glorious sunshine with friends, a pleasant meal and a glass of something.
But the weather is still changeable and so we keep some of our heartening dishes on the menu… just in case!
April wouldn’t be April without some bloke dressed up like a sardine can, gets on his horse and goes and slays a perfectly peaceful dragon. Now me, I’m with the dragon. But I suspect many of you side with George on the 22nd April when we celebrate his day. Book your tickets at the bar please for this one, so that we can get the table seating right.
It’s nearly that time of year to treat your mum to a slap up lunch to show her just how much you care.
Forget the flowers or chocolates (although I am one hundred percent that these will be welcomed as well) and go for a nice relaxing lunch for mum and the family.
And don’t forget it will save you having to do the cooking and the washing up so that you can spend quality time with your mum.
