Chearsley has a great weekend lined up for you.
I’m sure you are all aware by now that there is an extra special bank holiday weekend between 2nd & 5th June and here in Chearsley we are looking to make it a never to be forgotten weekend as we celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of our beloved Queen.
So much so that I am planning on letting her out of the loo for the weekend!
Chearsley’s Jubilee organising committee have got a fantastic series of events for all ages, starting with a village candlelit procession as we move from the Village Green down to the church to witness the lighting of our beacon to start the festivities.
Throughout the weekend, here in The Bell we will be running a Beer Festival with a fantastic selection of specialist beers on sale. And, on Saturday evening, we are holding a Platinum Party here and on the Green with live music, a pig roast and lots more.
Sunday rounds off the weekend when we hold The Bell’s Big Breakfast between 10am and noon (last orders for breakfast are 11:30am)
So do make sure you save the weekend a be involved in what is going to be an unforgettable weekend.
